The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is hoping the public can tell officers who this suspect is, following a recent Valleyview assault.

On July 30, 2023, around 4:40 p.m., frontline officers received a report of an assault at a business on the 2100-block of the Trans Canada Highway, in which a man allegedly spat at an employee.

Since the report was received, police have secured an image of the suspect and are hopeful someone will recognize him to help further the investigation, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

The suspect is described as:

• Caucasian male
• 25-30 years old
• 5’6
• 130 pounds
• Blond hair
• Dark shirt and cut-off shorts
• Carrying a duffle bag
