The Kamloops RCMP Detachment responded to approximately 384 calls for service from Friday Sept. 29 to 9 a.m. on Monday Oct. 2, 2023. Below are some highlights from those reports.
Assault investigation
2023-35637
A man was arrested for assault and breaching no-contact conditions after police were called to the North Shore Sunday morning.
On Oct. 1, 2023, around 9:55 a.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to the 500-block of Tranquille Road for a report of an assault in progress. A suspect was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.

Check-well being leads to warrant execution

Police were called to check the wellbeing of an unconscious man and ended up taking him into custody.
On Sunday Oct. 1, 2023, around 3 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers attended the 1900-block of Curlew Road in response to the request, and upon arrival, recognized the man was wanted on an unendorsed warrant and in breach of his release conditions.
The man was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.
Stolen truck recovered

Two people were arrested and released as part of an ongoing investigation into a stolen truck.
On Saturday Sept. 30, 2023, around 12:30 a.m., members of the Kamloops RCMP Crime Reduction Unit located a white Ford F350 pickup truck on the 700-block of Windsor Avenue, which had been reported stolen out of 100 Mile.
With the assistance of frontline officers, police arrested a man and a woman as part of the investigation, and recovered the truck. The suspects were released without process as part of the ongoing investigation.
