UPDATE/ IDENTIFIED: Kamloops RCMP -- Know these people? Police would like to talk to them

On Aug. 21, 2024, the Kamloops RCMP Detachment requested the public’s help in identifying two people of interest in an ongoing investigation. Thanks to the public’s assistance, they have been identified, helping to further the investigation.

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is grateful to the media and the public for its assistance. In the interest of privacy, the images circulated have been removed from the original release.

Kamloops RCMP -- Know these people? Police would like to talk to them

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is releasing images related to a suspicious occurrence, in an attempt to help further an investigation.

In June, Kamloops police officers began investigating an incident from May 29, 2024, in which a person may have been followed in their vehicle over a period of a few weeks.

As part of the investigation, police obtained security footage of a man and woman who we believe may have knowledge of criminal harassment directed at the owner of the vehicle, and police are looking to identify and speak to them, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

The people were in an older model black truck with a single cab, and are described as:

• Caucasian male
• Wearing a cowboy hat, blue and white plaid shirt, jeans, and brown boots

• Caucasian woman
• Long blondish hair in a ponytail
• Wearing a pink and white plaid shirt, black shorts, and glasses
