RCMP seek public’s help to identify persons related to an active police investigation

In an effort to advance an ongoing criminal investigation into an alleged incident carried out on April 19, 2020, along Murtle Lake Road in Blue River, police are turning to the general public for assistance with identifying two individuals connected to the case.

Clearwater RCMP is presently investigating an incident where two unknown male individuals were captured on film during a confrontation at a protest camp located near Clearwater BC. Despite their efforts to identify these persons, investigators are now publicly releasing still images of the individuals as they turn to the general public for their help to further the police investigation.

Unknown individual #1 is described as a Caucasian male, seen wearing a dark coloured Vans brand hooded sweatshirt, a pair of dark jeans, a baseball cap and a pair of black and white sneakers.

Unknown individual #2 is described as a Caucasian male, seen wearing a brown jacket, a pair of dark coloured jeans and a backwards baseball cap.

We are also strongly urging either of these males to immediately come forward to speak with our investigators, states Sgt. Grant Simpson, Detachment Commander for the Clearwater RCMP. We are taking this matter seriously.
