It has been just over one-year since Shaylanna Lewis was reported missing to the Masset RCMP but her family continues to look for her daily and is asking for anyone with information to contact police (link to original news release).

On the evening of March 21, 2020, Shaylanna was reported missing to the Masset RCMP by her mother when she failed to return home as expected and didn’t appear to have taken any of her belongings, including her cell phone with her.

Through investigation, RCMP have determined a witness may have seen Shaylanna at approximately 5:15 p.m. on March 21, walking along the south side of the highway near Masset. She has not been seen since.

Since the last witness sighting, police have been unable to substantiate any other tips of possible sightings and have no new leads as to her whereabouts.

In November of 2020, Shayalanna’s family offered a reward for information. They continue to hold out hope that she will come walking back into their lives, as she walked out.

Shaylanna’s mother, Monica Brown and the Masset RCMP Detachment Commander, Sergeant Kevin Smith have issued a video plea for information relating to Shaylanna’s disappearance.
