File # 2020-8106

Kamloops RCMP were called to an address in the 200 block of Evans Avenue on March 11th, 2020, after a vehicle collided with a residence.

When officers arrived at the address, they found that a car had driven across a lawn and struck a house. There was minor damage to the house and moderate damage to the car. Officers suspected that the driver was impaired and a 90-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition was issued and his vehicle was impounded.

The driver was a resident of the house that was struck. There was one person inside of the home at the time of the crash, they were not injured. The driver did not sustain any injuries.

Fortunately, there were no injuries in this collision, stated Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. Always have a plan to get yourself home safely after drinking. Consider taking a cab, public transportation or calling a friend or relative for a ride.
