
Police looking for suspects in downtown robbery

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is investigating after a business was robbed on Victoria Street this morning.
Around 11:12 a.m., today, March 3, frontline officers responded to a panic alarm at a business on the 700-block of Victoria Street, related to a robbery involving a knife. Two men were reported as stealing cash and a cordless phone from the store, as well as an employee’s wallet and cellphone.
Police set up a containment area and, with the assistance of the Police Dog Service Unit, searched for the suspects and evidence. A number of items were located and seized as part of the investigation.
The suspects are described as:
- Caucasian
- Male
- Six feet tall
- Dressed in baggy clothing
One of the suspects was described as wearing a dark green jacket; the other as wearing a black sweater, flat brim hat, and carrying a bag with a box inside.
The investigation is ongoing.
