The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is asking the public for help identifying two people of interest in an investigation involving a stolen satchel.

On March 20, around 4:20 p.m., Kamloops RCMP received a report of a theft from the 200-block of Victoria Street. According to the report, a black leather satchel containing identification and other items was stolen from a parked vehicle.

Surveillance was obtained at different locations where the stolen financial cards were used. In one of the videos, a woman appears to be wearing the satchel.

We are releasing images of two people of interest to help further our investigation, said Constable Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. It is our hope that someone will recognize the man or the woman and provide their names to police, or that the pair will come forth and assist police in locating the satchel.

Anyone who recognizes the people or knows the location of the satchel is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2021-8587.
